On the McElmo Western Railroad, with it being a modular layout with many different club member's trains, there is no specific type or road name for the locomotives. Many tend to lean towards diesel locomotives and the most common road name is probably the Rio Grande (Denver & Rio Grande Western) but you'll find pretty much any type of locomotive here.
